Andrew Davidson
Director
With an education originally based in research and health sciences, Andrew has worked in health & safety, environmental management and quality systems for over 12 years over a wide range of industries across UK and Ireland. These ranged from the film industry to civil engineering, the utilities and energy sector to the oil and gas industry, allowing him to acquire a wealth of knowledge and industry experience.
Andrew formed Davidson Associates with Cyril in November 2016 with a goal of improving the understanding and requirement for strong safety and environmental management within organisations across the board. In doing this, he has developed a passion for simplifying work processes to both increase effectiveness and cut back on unnecessary ‘red tape’ and assisting others in working with and taking ownership of their management systems.
Cyril Davidson
Director
After a lifetime of experience in the Civil Service where his responsibilities included Occupational Health & Safety, Public Safety and Public Relations, Cyril formed cdavidson:comms in 2000.
From humble beginnings in teaching the NEBOSH General Certificate, he has spent more than 20 years in the fields of consultancy and training, amassing a wealth of experience and knowledge across a wide range of industries and businesses and strives to help clients with continual improvements in their quality, health, safety and environmental management. He spent numerous years as an associate trainer with British Safety Council, teaching a range of IOSH and NEBOSH accredited courses with one of the best pass rates ever attained.
As a Lead Auditor, and Technical Expert in ISO 45001:2018 with British Standards Institute (BSI) for over 12 years, he has gained a wealth of experience across a wide range of industries.
With a thirst for more, Cyril formed Davidson Associates with Andrew in November 2016, bringing many loyal clients along with him, in itself, a testament to his dedication, hard work and support he has provided them for many years.
